Day 1: Discover Nyungwe Canopy walk and Night Fishing experience in Kivu Lake

·         Wake up early morning and have breakfast to leave Kigali city by 06h30 Am and drive for an estimated 6 hours to Nyungwe National Park.

·         1h00Pm arriving there, you may order lunch,

·         Registering for the canopy walk while waiting for your lunch

·         2h00Pm starting for the canopy walk in Nyungwe National Park; you may have an opportunity to see the monkeys move around in the tree tops, the birds that are flying above you and below you, and a beautiful view of the huge Nyungwe forest. It’s also an amazing sight.

·         Estimated time is approximately 2 hours.

Afternoon and evening: 

4h00Pm after the canopy walk depart to Karongi at the hotel and drive for 1 hour approximately. Hotel check-in and dinner upon arrival

·         By 5h30Pm, be ready for the three-hour long night fishing experience (Kibuye)

·          9h30Pm coming back from night fishing and going to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2: Explore Lake Kivu, take a guided boat ride to Napoleon Island

·         Have your breakfast and check-out of the hotel by 08h00. Our boat guide will pick you up to go and explore the different Islands in Lake Kivu, approximately 2 hours. You will go on a guided boat trip in Kivu, disembark the boat, and experience a short hike to Napoleon Island to the top and enjoy the amazing view, photoshoot

·         10h00 After visiting and exploring different Islands, continue the journey by boat riding to Rutsiro destination at Rushel Kivu Resort for 30min approximately

·          By 11h00 at the hotel, check-in and order Lunch upon arrival.

Afternoon and evening: 

·         At 2h30Pm, be ready for 2.5 hours of guided classic coffee tour experience

·         4h30Pm, returning back to the hotel for an overnight stay

Day 3: Guided Gisenyi city tour and hiking Rubavu Mountain

Have your breakfast and check-out of the hotel by 08h00Am. Our boat guide will pick you up from the hotel to go and explore the cool city starting from the hot water spring at Brasserie and experience a short guided city tour. You will have an opportunity to visit two borders of Rwanda and DRC (Petite and grande barrière), a public beach, Rubavu market, cross border market and end up by hiking Rubavu mountain and from there, you have an amazing view of two cities (Gisenyi and GOMA of DRC).

Returning back from Rubavu Mountain, you will have lunch and then go back to Kigali through MUSANZE town to arrive in Kigali around 7h30 P.m.
